Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable houses in partnership with low income families. Through donations of money, materials, and volunteer labour under trained supervision, Habitat builds and renovates homes with the assistance of the homeowner (partner) families. Since 1976, Habitat has built over 200,000 houses around the world. Houses are sold to partner families at less than market value, financed with affordable, no-interest loans.
