Heritage at Risk is a collaborative advocacy program managed by the State and Territory National Trusts and coordinated by the ACNT in conjunction with heritage partners. The program was developed from the previous Endangered Places program.
The National Trusts of Australia work with the heritage community, including our 2009 partners,  Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) http://www.architecture.com.au/, and the Australian Historical Association (AHA), http://www.theaha.org.au/, to promote the program in order to raise public awareness of heritage issues and bring these to the attention of governments and other authorities so that appropriate solutions can be found.
Our Heritage at Risk program has been running since 2007 and replaced the successful Endangered Places program run until 2004. The new program is more comprehensive of heritage in that it is not restricted to places or tangible heritage at risk.
